Controlled Burn - Julimar Fire Shed - 16 September 2012

On 16 September, Julimar Brigade was finally able to achieve a burn to reduce 45 years of fuel load around the Fire Shed (Station).

The temperature made it as high as 27ºC with light to moderate winds. The result is frightening. This, under controlled conditions, reasonable weather...

Congratulations and thanks to all who gave up their Sunday and made the shed and surrounds safer for the local community.
